Festival Overview

The Pause: Emptying, Staying, and Filling exhibition in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, explores the theme of 'Karma' through the 30-year artistic journey of artist Choi Young-wook. This exhibition will take place at the OAR Art Museum from May 7 to August 11, 2026, allowing visitors to reflect on their inner selves and contemplate life.

Artist Choi Young-wook delves into the question, "What traces does life leave, and where do those traces flow?" Through the lines of the traditional Korean moon jar (dalhangari), he interprets the cycles of life. The exhibition is structured into four sections: Exploration, Discovery, Internalization, and Expansion, providing visitors with a profound flow of contemplation.
